...Und es wurde Licht (y se hizo la luz) abordó de una forma auto reflexiva mediante la repetición del “gesto” cuestiones como lo efímero, el valor de la obra de arte y sus materiales. Con tres rotuladores -azul, amarillo y rojo- la acción se inició trazando manualmente líneas verticales de punta a punta del papel en unos rollos de papel de unos 700 m de longitud, hasta que este se agotó. Esta acción se repitió con el resto de los colores. El tiempo es importante en todas mis obras pero en esta cobra mayor relevancia ya que la duración de la acción depende del material y no del que realiza el gesto. Este requiere de un proceso que conlleva la repetición del gesto hasta el agotamiento del material, en este caso del rotulador utilizado. ...y se hizo la luz nos habla del espectro de luz como lo originario para entender y poder ver el mundo, sus formas, contornos y los colores que lo habitan mostrándonos al artista en su tarea de querer representar el mundo a través de los materiales de los que dispone.

...Und es wurde Licht approached questions regarding the ephemeral, the value of the artistic work and its materials by means of repetition of the “gesture” and in an auto reflexive form. With three markers – blue, yellow and red – the action started manually by the drawing of vertical lines from top to bottom on paper rolls that were 700 m long until the ink was empty. This requires of a process of repeating the gesture until the material, in this case the used markers, becomes empty. ...Und es wurde Licht tells us of the phantom of light as the origin to understand und see the world and the forms, contours and colours that inhabit it. It also shows us the artist trying to represent the world through the materials that he has available.
